The Story
E.L.L.A. Grace Collective was created by two friends, Emiko McCoy and Shirley Patterson, who wanted to have a place that could be universally accessible for everyone. A space to promote Empowerment, Love, Learning, and Ascension. That's where ELLA came to be.
Emiko McCoy
She is an American Fashion designer and Innovation leader with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. She is a brand builder, strategic thinker and problem solver, with diverse experience and success stories across multiple brands and categories. She has an MPS in Design Management from Pratt Institute and an Alum of NC State. She has worked and designed for Vera Wang, Kenneth Cole, Perry Ellis, Champion, Ralph Lauren, Reebok, and Nike.
Thru ELLA Grace Collective, her mission is to bring the power of design and technology to communities; expanding access, opportunity, and empowerment.
Shirley Patterson
Is a wife, mother, and long time supporter of helping the community be empowered and inspired from within. Providing the multi-purpose space at ELLA Grace Collective is a personal dream to spread across the community.
